Jane Rusk, started her accounting career in a commercial bank while still in high school. By the age of 26, she had earned distinction as the youngest banking officer in that bank's history, as Manager of the accounting department for their Securities & Investment Portfolio. She left the banking world in the 1990's to be the Accounting Manager of her family's newly formed Home Health Agency. The business weathered the storms of federal reform and thrived in the heavily regulated healthcare industry for the 5 years that Jane sat at the financial helm. She was eventually lured away to become Accounting Manager of the St Luke's Home Health Agency, without realizing that she would soon miss the challenges of managing her own business.

Jane started FinancialCare Bookkeeping in 2001 as a way to work closely with other business entrepreneurs while continuing the bookkeeping work that she loved and knew so well. Over the years, she has worked with large and small businesses to help them get a clearer financial picture. She has guided many new businesses through the start-up process and on the right foot financially, and helped more seasoned business owners reach their goal of financial independence by providing services ranging from training and forecasting services to QuickBooks help. The rewards of helping a business develop a firm financial foundation far surpass the accolades of the corporate accounting world, and Jane enjoys every aspect of her job, from clean up projects to projections and planning
